Old Chinese armless wooden chair with a natural patina from years of use. Chairs of this type are sometimes called farmer's chairs or minyi jiaoyi and were commonly made from elm or poplar. The visible wear gives this piece its distinctive wabi-sabi character.
Seat: 39 cm wide, 28 cm deep and 34 cm high. Overall height 69.5 cm; back width 41.5 cm; depth 42 cm.
